Uneventful Days at the Cook Household

Greg got on me yesterday because I hadn't updated the blog in over a week. What can I say, there isn't much going on right now! Last week I decided that it was time to drop the morning nap. Maggie was just fighting me on either going down in the morning or going down in the afternoon. So, cold turkey we went! She did pretty well with a small 20-30 cat nap in the car in the morning and a nice 2-2 1/2 hours in the afternoon. Well, ever since Saturday, we've been back to two naps with a nice wake up time around 6:00 a.m. I guess it could still be awhile before she is solidly on one nap...just in time for summer!

Other than that, life is the same old same old. Dad and Lea came over last weekend. Maggie loves playing with her grandpa! He chases her around and makes her laugh...she also decided to try his shirt on (see picture below). She even put the shirt on all by herself (I helped her with the arms). She is a funny girl and is talking up a storm more and more each day. It is amazing to me how much information they just soak up! If I tell her to go get a diaper, she'll go to the basket and also brings me the wipes. She knows where her hair, nose, ears, and belly are. She is pretty much repeating whatever we say too! Guess we better start to watch what we say. All in all, she is a happy, healthy and fun 15 month old (almost) little girl!!
