The title of this post says it all about the day I have had. It is absolutely the most beautiful spring day outside--70 degrees, sunny, not a cloud in the sky. Maggie and her whining are the only clouds around here today! I don't know if it is teething (don't we just blame everything on teething for the first 2 years of life?) or the fact that I am really trying to wean her from wanting to nurse all the time, but this kid has been doing some serious whining. All she really wants is for me to hold her (p.s. I will NOT do this all day) or for me to nurse her (she is getting to be almost 15 months old, so she obviously doesn't need it to fill her up). So, after whining all morning and fighting me on her nap, we decided to head downtown and meet Greg for a little picnic lunch on Keener Plaza. Of course, as soon as I hit the highway, Maggie was out like a light! But once she saw Daddy and the endless amount of space to run around, she perked up quite a bit and I haven't heard a whine since this morning... And it is finally nap time:)
