18 months and counting

Maggie is officially 18 months old!! We went to see Dr. Molitor last week for her check-up and can't believe we don't have to go back until she is 2. She is doing well, and finally surpassed the 20 pound mark. I think I did a little dance at the scale!! Here are her stats:

Weight: 20 lbs. 13 oz. (5th %)
Height: 30 1/4 inches (10th %)

Overall, she is developing right on track and has even accomplished a lot of things that most 2 year old cannot do (according to the Dr.) She really does just jabber all the time and is so polite. If she wants something, I ask her to ask me nicely and she just grins and says "pleeeeeeease."

This Friday we leave for our much awaited family vacation. We are heading to Santa Rosa, CA (near San Fran) with my dad, step-mom and the rest of the family. I cannot wait!! Not so much looking forward to the plane rides, but it will be well worth all the headaches, I'm sure. In preparation for our trip, we just got a new lens for a camera and LOVE it!
