Vacation--Orange Beach, Alabama

Well, we made it through our first family vacation! We had a great, relaxing time at Orange Beach in Alabama. Our drive down was pretty uneventful, and Maggie did well in the car. We spent our days lounging around the pool and hanging out at our condo. We quickly learned that laying on the beach with a 7 month old isn't really possible. We didn't get to spend much time in the sand considering Maggie enjoyed picking up a handful and going straight to her mouth with it! But she did love the pool and the float that we bought for her. It was a much needed vacation for the entire family! Our trip back wasn't quite as quiet as the way down. Maggie decided that she only needed about an hour and a half of sleep for the entire 13 hour drive home! She was finally so tired at about 6:00 that we made a stop and put her pj's on and she finally went to sleep for the night. It was a long day, but we are home safe and sound and refreshed....
