Nesting

I have been pretty horrible about posting lately, huh? I promise I will do better! I don't even have any pictures to post. I need to take a video of Maggie talking...she never stops talking, in fact. She is now officially speaking in complete sentences! I am actually very thankful to have such a verbal little girl. I think it will help when the baby gets here.

The reason I haven't posted is because I've been in major nesting mode!!! It just hit me this past week that the baby is going to be here sooooo soon! In fact, I am now 34 weeks pregnant. Five weeks from today (Saturday, March 6) is baby day (unless I go into labor before 39 weeks). My main project has been to clean out our closet. I am thankful to have such great friends....especially my friend Rachel. She came over to give me some guidance on my closet. She forced me to get rid of 3 GIANT trash bags of stuff. I honestly don't think Greg and I have gone through our clothes and shoes since we got married 5 1/2 years ago. We just moved our stuff from one apartment to the other and finally to this house. It was TIME!!! I managed to get everything on one side of our closet in order to free up some space for the baby. I know it sounds cruel to put a baby in a closet, but our closet is big!!! I swear!!! It is big enough to fit all of our clothes AND a pack n play AND a glider.

Maggie is so sweet about the baby. She knows the names we have picked out but mostly she says she wants to name the baby "sister brother." This morning she laid on my belly for a good 10 minutes patting the baby and asking him/her to come out! Greg has tried to tell her that once the baby is out, it does not go back in... Not sure if she understands that concept or not. She is going to be such a great big sister:)

As we approach this week, I am teary just thinking about Maggie turning TWO next Saturday. Where did those two years go????? She is such a doll, and she teaches me something new everyday! Be back later this week to remember the last year....
