He accomplished many things in his 93 years of life, but I think he would have been proudest of the fact that he was married for 64 years, raised two great daughters, had three successful grandchildren (and one grandchild-in-law) and got to see his great-grandaughter's first two years of life. He left a legacy for us--taught us how to serve our community and our God, how to be a great husband, father, and grandfather. I truly believe he is sitting up there with Jesus right now, and Jesus is patting him on the back saying "Carleton, you lived a good life and followed me all along the way."
