I want to start this post out saying how much I love my baby and how much I really do love the fact that we are blessed enough that I can stay home with her. That being said, there are days when things are really hard! We all came down with the stomach flu--Maggie actually got it first and infected the rest of the household! It was pretty miserable, and after that, she has just been so off her schedule. Those of you that have been around me much since I had her, you probably can vouch for the fact that I have her on a pretty strict schedule and routine just to keep some sanity in my life. Well, when that schedule gets thrown off, it majorly stresses me out!!! She has been all over the place--2 short naps, 1 short nap a day, barely any naps, early wakings, waking in the middle of the night (but usually falling right back to sleep). I realize that there are many factors here--being sick and teething (she just got 4 teeth on the top all at the same time). However, when you are home all day and each day gets a little worse, it makes me want to pull my hair out!!!
Okay, now that I'm done complaining....
Maggie is sooooo close to walking. She can move from one piece of furniture to the next in no time. Yesterday I turned my back for one second to wipe something up in the kitchen and she was almost to the TOP of the stairs (Greg taught her how to climb those!!!) Overall, she is so much fun to play with and loves her toys that she got for Christmas. She is never done exploring our house and finding all those things that she is not supposed to find, but I realize this is just the tip of the iceberg. Only 2 more weeks until she turns one!!! Where has the time gone???
How can you not love this sweet thing?
